Biography:

I am a licensed psychologist with a decade of experience in treating children, couples, families, and adults. I hold a Doctorate (Psy.D) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from The Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy, and a Master’s degree in Addiction Studies from The Hazelden Betty Ford School of Addiction Studies.

My clinical journey has been shaped by diverse and enriching experiences. Prior to opening my own practice, I was with CARE Counseling, where I honed my skills as manager and psychologist. My previous clinical experiences include internships and practicums at Mental Health Systems PC, Headway Emotional Health, Park Ave Center, and the Amherst Wilder Foundation. Additionally, I have six years of experience working as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.

I employ a holistic and multifaceted approach to therapy, recognizing the unique needs of each individual. My goal is to provide compassionate and effective treatment, helping my clients navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you on your journey to well-being.

What to expect…

Life is full of many moments both fulfilling and challenging. As humans we go through a variety of emotions. It takes bravery and courage to reach out to begin to understand and work through them. This courage inspired the name of my practice, Encourage Growth Psychology.

When you are in session with me, I will provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. You can expect to be met with acceptance, empathy, care, and unconditional positive regard, no matter what walk of life you have come from. While therapy is challenging, it also can be highly rewarding in the end.
